Parameter 1 16 bit parallel data automatically converted to ARINC 429, 575, and 561 data
Parameter 2 Direct simulation interface of high-speed parallel 16 bit data bus ARINC bus
Parameter 3 Digital output slope control (without capacitor), reset input for power on initialization
Parameter 4 can be selected as parity check or data simplification lightning protection, which can add 27.5 ohms of external series resistance (HI-8788) to each ARINC output
Parameter 5 Small 32 pin plastic TQFP package with low-power CMOS for industrial and extended temperature range
HI-8787 and HI-8788 are system components used to interface 16 bit parallel data with the ARINC 429 bus. They combine logic and line drivers on one chip. The output resistance of HI-8787 is 37.5 ohms, and the output resistance of HI-8788 is 10 ohms, to facilitate external lightning protection circuits. This technology is analog/digital CMOS.
Both products offer high-speed data bus transmission to buffer registers. After loading two 16 bit words, the data is automatically transmitted. The data rate is equal to the clock rate. Parity check can be enabled at the 32nd bit. Reset is used to initialize logic at startup. Automatically send word gaps.
In addition to a 5V power supply, this device also requires a+/-10V power supply.
