Today, Intel launched the first generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor with 3 registered nutritionists, achieving an average performance improvement of 46% on common data center workloads. The first generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor, registered as a nutritionist, integrates built-in artificial intelligence acceleration technology, Intel encryption acceleration technology, and advanced security features to protect data and application code through Intel Software Protection Extensions (SGX). Intel has sold over 200000 units of the first generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor, which will generate revenue in the first quarter of 2021 and gain widespread industry adoption in all segmented markets.
As part of the numerous product portfolio announcements related to today's release, Intel also disclosed some groundbreaking FPGA news: Intel Agilex FPGA now offers industry-leading energy efficiency and performance, including:
Compared to competitors' 7-nanometer FPGAs, video IP performance is 50% higher*
Compared with competitors' 7-nanometer FPGAs, the structural performance per watt has been improved by about 2 times, providing flexible and energy-efficient designs for data centers and other fields*
Intel Agilex FPGAs achieve an average performance improvement of 45% in data centers, networks, and edge applications*
Compared with the previous generation FPGA, the structural performance of high-speed 5G front-end gateway applications has been improved by up to 49%*
The Intel Agilex FPGA series combines Intel's 10 nanometer SuperFin process technology, 3D heterogeneous system in package (SiP) integration with Intel's proprietary embedded multi chip interconnect bridge (EMIB), and innovative architecture based on small chips to provide customized connectivity and acceleration for various applications. The new architecture allows for the stitching of FPGA structures with specially built tiles such as transceivers, processor interfaces, optimized I/O, custom computing, Intel eASIC structured ASICs, and many other features to create unique customized and optimized application solutions.
Just like the first generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor and Intel Agilex FPGAs, which are currently in mass production and shipment, registered nutritionist No. 3.
